Develop and maintain PRA (Product Risk Analysis), test plans and strategies that fit the goals of the teams within the Small Consumption value chain. Determine which test levels (unit, integration, system, acceptance) and test types (functional, non-functional) are required. Registration or recording in test management system . Manage the roadmap for test automation, determine milestones and priorities and stimulate in achieving them. Set up and configure the required Tosca architecture with regard to test automation for the Small Consumption value chain. Iteratively check whether test strategy needs to be adjusted based on feedback and trends from internal customers, business priorities and/or changes in software designs. Design, develop and maintain test scripts. Set up and apply test automation. Use tools and frameworks from the target architecture. Implement tests throughout the CI/CD pipeline to gain continuous feedback on software quality.Develop and maintain regression test suite to quickly identify and resolve regressions. Create test requirements for CI/CD and assist in defining and realizing the implementation plan. Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain technical and functional knowledge topics. Align and support Enterprise Architect, System Architect and Information Security Officer to ensure alignment of test roadmap for functional and non-functional tests. Work closely with Developers, Product Owners and other team members to understand, translate test requirements into acceptance criteria and implement. Ensure user stories are correctly and completely described against quality criteria so that they can be refined in a timely manner.

Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinements and retrospectives. Collaborate with other teams working on the same or related products. Achieving sprint and PI goals within the quality criteria and thereby realizing value creation for the business. Identify and manage risks related to quality and testing. Work with other stakeholders to assess risks, adjust test plans based on risk analyses and implement appropriate mitigation measures. Oversee quality assurance activities, such as monitoring test coverage and analyzing defect trends. Ensure product quality through manual and automated testing, such as functional testing (including coordinating and supervising user testing where applicable), as well as execution or supervision of non-functional testing (such as performance testing and security testing). You are responsible for recording the performed and/or coordinated tests and the advice for decision making. Identify, report and follow up on defects/test findings. Work with developers to resolve defects quickly and effectively; identifying root causes and creating and discussing insightful solution directions. Set up and manage test environments that are representative of production environments. Create and manage test data required for test scenarios. Drive improvements in current test efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and analyze test results to continuously improve test processes and strategies. Perform software quality assessments and report the results in terms of coverage and remaining risks, including proposing improvement actions. Review test-related deliverables, observe automated regression test results, initial analysis, follow-up actions, bug advocacy, etc. Gain insight, align and monitor cross-team and/or chain testing. Implement improvements based on feedback and new insights. Inspire and coach engineers within the value chain by broadening the perspective on software testing methods based on the effective learning and development method "I do, We do, You do". Transfer knowledge and train engineers in test processes, tools and best practices so that they can eventually operate independently. Coaching and, where necessary, correcting engineers in the use of test applications. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR.

Required experience / skills:

-Minimum 5 years of senior level experience in software development and quality engineering.

-A proven track record with test software, including extensive experience in setting up and configuring infrastructure for Tosca test automation at various clients/assignments.

-Extensive experience with automating tests, including automatic testing of APIs/Services.

-Being able to explain test concepts and principles such as coverage, product risk, how to analyze a product, exploratory testing, drawing up a test strategy.

-Being able to demonstrate good test definition and execution skills.

-Experience with methodologies and frameworks used in the SDLC process (Software Development Life-Cycle), such as Scrum, DevOps and SAFe / Agile.

-Experience with or knowledge of concepts and techniques used such as Context-Driven Testing, ---Rapid Software Testing or testing in an Agile context such as SAFe with CI/CD (continuous integration / continuous deployment or delivery), Built-in Quality, Shift-Left, test driven development (TDD) and behavioral driven development (BDD).

-Experience in using the software platforms Mendix, SAP S/4HANA and Flowable is a plus.

-Experience in using the project and test management tools Jira and TesterSuite is a plus.
